Dealing with men can be a bit confusing for the uninitiated. However, most men want the same simple things out of a relationship and out of a partner. These wants are easier said than fulfilled. Keep in mind that not all men are created the same.

To be loved

Truly, most men just want to be loved…by the right woman. A man wants a woman who can be with him, one who is loyal, committed, and loving by his own standards.

As the Beatles song says, “All we need is love”. Men want to be cared for, be honored, respected by the same people they love. He wants a woman who can take care of him, love him, put up with his nasty habits. It does not seem like a tall order.

Maintaining a relationship takes a whole lot of work and some women might not be up to the challenge. To some that might mean getting all his needs met, from a clean house, ironed clothes, and warm food when they get home from work. Indeed, a loved and cared for man makes a happy husband or lover.

Men Don’t Want You to Change for the Worse

Men want their women not to change and stay the same as upbeat and nice person. The same person that she used to be the first time they met. Change is perceived differently by each. No wonder there is a great gap between the expectations of both sexes.

One quote wraps this fact nicely, — “Men marry women hoping they will not change, while women marry men in the great hope to change them.” Go figure.

Men Want Reassurance… that he is the best

A man wants to be assured that he is the best lover, provider, father, etc. You might say he needs these to stroke his ego but it is true. He might not verbalize this want but they do want it from time to time.

Most men often show their love, feelings and desires through actions. But words of assurance and confirmation of their fabulous roles in their family and homes will give his ego a boost and would encourage him to strive more.

Most men want the same ‘simple things out of a relationship and out of a partner. Arguable, these wants are easier said than fulfilled. Women, not all men are the same, these are mere generalizations. Some men have more detailed wants than these.

Men want her to look good

It is the age-old debate requiring women have to be on their feet all the time. That she needs to take care of her looks. This is important whether she works or stays at home. Men are simply visual creatures, they love to look, and you better stay lovely to look at.

A man would want her to be someone he would love to look at each day. it should not surprise anyone that a woman’s physical attributes is one of the top reasons why a man approached her. She need not look really gorgeous but should be one whom a man finds inspiration and makes him thankful just being waking up beside her each day. Making a small effort to look pleasing would not hurt and score a woman points in her man’s heart.

Most men want women to be of few words and say what they mean.

In short, men want women to deal with them like men do, communicate to them like men do and tell them when something is not done right preferably once and not brought up everytime their partners have the chance.

Simply just tell you man as it is, if it’s black then it’s black not gray. Men are not mind-readers. Really this is easier said that done considering women are from Venus. Now, if only women’s minds work the same way.

Most men want their women to be independent and not clingy, desperate or needy.

Independent women still rules. This means that women have to be independent of their man financially, mentally and emotionally. It’s really like telling women to grow balls and face up to the challenge and not leave men to do most of the dirty work.

It seems that what most men want are simple. Simple things that takes a lot of work. If you want to have a happy and fulfilled man beside you, it is possible, just give him what he wants.
