Chauncey Billups Back To Detroit
July 11, 2013 3 CommentsChauncey Billups returns to the Pistons on a two-year deal worth $2.5 million.
This is likely the last two seasons he will play in the NBA. In an era where veterans pursue championships, Billups chooses to return to his NBA home.
Andre Drummond, who currently wears Billups old jersey #1, went to Twitter and said he’s willing to release the number to Billups:
If we do take CB ill give my #1 up. #Mr.BigShot

More than likely this won’t happen because the NBA usually requires players to wait at least a year before switching numbers. But still, love the attitude, Andre.
NBA, Sports
Glad to see him stay in the league. He’s a standup guy. Hope is able to actually play this season.
he’s washed up and done. What he play 12 games for the clips last season? c’mon
Good memories 2004 beating the Lakers.
Andre you need to get off Twitter and work on at least hitting the rim on your freethrows #ijs
